In the Inventors Club this week we constructed a powered roller coaster with automatic firework dispensers and piston obstacles on timed circuits. If that makes sense to you, then you are a redstone Master!

Learning and DoingSt Vincent’s Hurling Blitz
Well done to all the boys from 3rd and 4th who took part in the St Vincent’s Hurling Blitz. The boys had a great time winning one game, drawing another and losing one. Everyone received a medal at the end of the day. Well done lads and a big thank you to St Vincents!
STEM in Blarney St: DPS STEM Plaque of Excellence
Congratulations to the boys of 1st and 4th class who received their DPS STEM Plaque of Excellence. The boys put a lot of hard work in this year and were delighted to receive the top award. Well done lads!
4th Class Sponsored Walk
4th class went for their Sponsored Walk yesterday to the Lee Fields. They also got to stop off in Fitzgerald’s Park on the way back for some time in the playground. In total the boys walk over 7kms. Well done lads!
Graffitti Theatre in Blarney St
The Graffitti Theatre were recently in Blarney St doing a production based on Fair Trade for 3rd to 6th. The boys from 4th class also got to take part in a workshop after based on Fair Trade after the performance. Have a look at the pictures below to see what they were doing.
