CORK CITY SPORTS ON WEDNESDAY 23RD JUNE
Sporty Staff:
Its not just the pupils who are crazy about sport in our school. We would like to congratulate the staff who have been involved in Sport over the last few weeks!
Mr Buckley who played G.A.A. with Dripsey when they beat Barryroe in the Intermediate Hurling Championship.
Mr Kennedy who played for St. Finbars when they beat Bride Rovers in the Senior Hurling Championship.
Ms Whooley and Mr Burke who completed 2 stages of the Cork City Marathon .
Comhghairdeachas faoi leith do Miss Brady who completed the Cork City Marathon.
Best of luck also to Mr Casey who is back training with Knocknagree!
M U S I C – BRASS BAND:
Our Brass Band is becoming famous.
They have been asked to play for the Lord Mayor when he launches the children’s book “Eurochild” in the City Hall this Friday @ 11:00.
Music Concert for students who study Musical Instruments after school – in school hall next Wednesday 23rd June @ 11:00.
SCHOOL CONCERT:
Fun was had by all at our Yearly School Concert.
Ross Gleeson from the School Brass Band meets Senior Infants Shane Harris and Michael Gbadero.
Well done to all boys and a big thanks to
everyone who came to support them!
