SCHOOL SUMMER HOLIDAYS:
School closed on Wednesday, 30th June at 12:00. The school will re-open after summer holidays on Monday, 30th August. Hoping all the boys enjoy their break!
S P O R T S :
Congratulations to all the boys for having so much fun on their school sports day, we hope all the Parents enjoyed the beautiful sunshine.
A special thanks to the Parents Association for the lovely spread and all the hard work they’ve put in over the year!
Thanks also to our wonderful past pupils who helped us out.
CORK CITY SPORTS will take place this Wednesday, the boys taking part will leave the school at 1:45 and should be back at school around 5:00.
Football Blitz this Thursday for 4th class, at St. Vincents, Sundays Well at 11:00, all parents welcome. Best of luck boys!
NEW JUNIOR INFANTS:
The new Junior Infants are starting on Tuesday, 29th June to introduce them to their new school. So best of luck and we welcome them warmly to our school.
OUR LINKS WITH U.C.C.:
5th class are visiting U.C.C. this Thursday for an exhibition. Bus will be leaving the school at 10:30 and arriving back at approx. 2:15. All parents are welcome so please ring Sandra in office if you can attend
M U S I C :
Music Lessons for Next Year!
Music Lessons will be available to boys from 1st class to 6th class on the following instruments: Piano, drums, violin, guitar (from 4th class), choir.
If you wish your son to start lessons please inform Sandra in the office before the end of term to reserve a place, spaces are limited.
Concert tomorrow at 11:00 in hall, featuring the Rock Band ‘Doomsday’, guitar class, choir, brass band, piano and drum students. All welcome.
‘Doomsday’ will also play in North Presentation Primary next Tuesday @ 11:00.
JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT :
12 boys from 6th Class are well on their way to becoming the business leaders of the future as they take part in the Junior Achievement program. A representative from Musgraves is teaching the boys about the management structure in a company entrepreneurship and much more. Lets hope they
remember their teachers when they become Ireland’s youngest millionaires!
6th Class Graduation on this Thursday 24th June in the school hall at 7:30.
