The boys from 3rd and 4th class thoroughly enjoyed the workshops on the Titanic and on the 1st and 2nd World Wars.

SCHOOL CLOSED BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 4TH JUNE
SCHOOL ASSEMBLY NEXT WEDNESDAY, 6TH JUNE IN SCHOOL HALL.
SCHOOL SPORTS DAY from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. Friday 8th June at St. Vincents H&F. Boys will go straight to St.Vincents H&F Pitch that morning at around 9:50a.m. All parents are welcome to stay and watch. Boys will also be collected from St. Vincents at 2:00p.m.
Parents’ Association having coffee morning at School Sports Day – all money raised will go towards the 6th class boys graduation.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
Congratulations to all of the 2nd class boys who received First Communion and to their teachers Mrs Buckley & Mr Kelliher for all of the preparation and hard work. It was a beautiful ceremony, added to by the musicians; our teachers Miss O Sullivan and Mr Burke. A big thank you to the parents’ association who put on their usual fantastic spread afterwards at the Communion Breakfast in St. Vincent’s hall. Thanks to all other helpers who came along on the morning.

SCHOOL TOUR – 3RD/4TH/5TH/6TH CLASS BOYS:
Boys are going to the Glen Resource for their school tour on Wednesday 13th June,
leaving school at 9:30a.m. and returning at 4:30p.m. The total cost for each boy for the school tour is €24 and must be paid before Friday 1st June.
SCHOOL TOUR – JUNIOR & SENIOR BOYS:
Boys are going to Fota for their school tour on Wednesday 13th June. Bus leaves school at 9:30a.m. and returning to school at normal time. The total cost for each boy for the school tour is €15 and must be paid before Friday 1st June.
M U S I C :
Music Students Concert is on Wednesday, 6th June at 11a.m. in school hall.
Choir trip to Dublin on Tuesday, 12th June.
Rock band visiting St. Vincents school on Thursday, 14th June.
End of the year concert is on Tuesday, 19th June at 11a.m. in school hall.
6TH CLASS BOYS GRADUATION :
6th Class Boys Graduation is on Wednesday, 20th June in school hall.
W.O.W – WALK ON WEDNESDAY :
Remember to put on your walking shoes tomorrow and walk or ‘park and stride’ to school if you can.
ANNUAL CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION :
On Sunday, 3rd June, North Cathedral are having their Annual Corpus Christi Procession. It will depart from the Cathedral at 3p.m. If your child has received the Sacrament of Holy Communion and you would like them to walk and strew petals in the procession, there will be a supervised short practice on Saturday, 2nd June at 11a.m. in the North Cathedral grounds.
