COMMUNION PREPARATION :
This month’s Do This in Memory mass takes place this Sunday, 31st January at 11:30 in the North Cathedral.
SWIMMING :
Swimming is on this Friday for 2nd and 4th class – Please make sure boys have their swimming shorts, goggles, hat and towel.
SPIKE BALL :
Our school spike ball team will go to Bishopstown tomorrow to play in a tournament, best of luck boys!
MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING FAIR :
SATURDAY 6TH February, 11am—4pm, Clarion Hotel, Lapps Quay, Cork. Free admission. Attend free workshops, meet organisations in your area and learn about wellbeing. Register at www.cork2016.eventbrite.ie (or just pop in!)
Vex Iq :
Our two fifth classes will be heading out to CIT to represent the school at the Vex Iq Competition this Thursday and Friday. The boys have been working hard all year on this and are really looking forward to going. The boys will come to school as normal both mornings and return at 2.20 p.m. Any parent who is interested in calling out to CIT is more than welcome to do so. The event will be held in the Main Sports Hall and the Student’s Union Building.
Reading for Fun :
Thanks to all the parents who took part this week in the Reading for Fun in 2nd class. The next session will be at the same time next week.
One Book under Every Tree for Christmas :
Thanks to all the boys who have brought in books for the one book under every tree event.
Tomorrow will be the last day to bring in books.
Young Booleans’ :
Thanks to all who have returned their forms. Please note that the Vex Iq and Computer Animation programmes are now full. There are a limited number of places left on the Movie Making and Science programmes. The balance of the fee can be paid before the programmes start on February the 9th.
