Ambassador’s Visit :
Blarney Street was delighted to welcome his excellency Ambassador Séamus O’ Grady to our school yesterday. His visit was part of the 5th class Irish Aid Awards project. Ambassador O’ Grady spoke to the whole school about his role as Irish Ambassador to Zambia and conducted a Questions & Answers session with the 5th class. It was a great honour for the school to host such a prestigious guest and we are very grateful to Ambassador O’ Grady for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit us. Go raibh maith agat a Shéamus!
Cór Fhéile na Scol :
Well done to all the boys involved in the commemoration ceremony before the holidays. It was a very special day for our school community and a very proud one. We will be performing the same pieces again for the Cór Fhéile. Some boys from 4th and 5th and all of 6th class will be taking part in Cór Fhéile na Scol on Tuesday, 12th April @ 7:30p.m. All boys need to arrive at 7p.m. A separate note with all the details will be sent home.
Confirmation :
6th Class boys will be fitted for their Confirmation Robes this Wednesday at 1:05p.m., parents do not attend. Confirmation is on Thursday 21st April 2016 at the North Cathedral Church.
